Rip Current is a puppetry piece about perceptual difference. It follows a neurodivergent protagonist who, unsettled by the noise of daily life, is drawn by a strange squeak and begins digging beneath the floor - into a surreal, imagined world.

There, she encounters a colony of synchronized ants, a badger caught in compulsive repetition, and a rabbit whose thoughts dart and scatter. Each layer becomes a metaphor for her relationship with the world-a longing to connect, constantly out of sync.
